Empower Lives with My Half’s Mission
My Half Kitchen provides hope and economic transformation for women in the Chicago suburbs. Each bakery item is made with care and created by local women who have faced obstacles to employment due to exploitation, trauma or hardship. As we know, economic markets are unpredictable. Recent businesses within the Wheaton area has had a direct effect on the My Half local non-profit, decreasing sales at the kitchen. Additionally, our annual goal for donations has not been met. In order to keep women employed, we must raise $130k. Will you help us in this cause by making a donation today?
All donations are tax-deductible and will directly support these women in the following ways: (1) Providing essential job training and skill development workshops. (2) Supplying materials and ingredients needed for the My Half Kitchen’s baked goods. (3) Creating a sustainable work environment that allows these women to thrive.
